Terms
Terms of service and sale.
Who provides the work and editions.
ClarityOne Works and the digital books, audiobooks and other editions offered on afterglow.company and clarityone.org are provided and sold by Ben Hassine, trading as Afterglow and ClarityOne, Belgium — info@afterglow.company (and info@clarityoneworks.org for commissioned work).
Commissioned work.
Every commissioned page, publication or video begins with a written scope agreed before work starts: what is included, the review rounds, the price and any separate costs. Nothing is published without your approval.
Digital editions.
When you buy a digital edition on afterglow.company or clarityone.org, you receive a personal licence to download, read and listen to the file (EPUB, PDF or MP3/M4B) for your own non-commercial use. Nothing physical is shipped. Our files carry no DRM; please do not share or resell them.
Prices and payment.
Prices are shown at checkout in euros or US dollars and include VAT where it applies. Direct purchases on our sites are processed through Payhip (card and PayPal, depending on your country and device); editions are also available through partner bookstores (such as Google Play Books, Kobo, Apple Books and Barnes & Noble), where payment is handled directly by that store.
Refunds.
For digital editions, see our 14-day refund policy at afterglow.company/refunds.
YouTube.
Our videos are published on YouTube. Our internal channel tool uses YouTube API Services; using it means agreeing to the YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms). Google's Privacy Policy applies to data that Google handles: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy.
Liability.
Our liability is limited to the price you paid, as far as the law allows. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.
Law.
The law of Belgium, where the seller is registered, applies. If you are a consumer in another country, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your own country. If something goes wrong, please write to us first; we answer every message.
